Had the pleasure of checking out "Rock of Ages" when none other than Dee Snider as well as Jim Peterik of Ides of March/Survivor were in attendance! Was definitely more memorable the 2nd time around!!
Had a great time - really talented cast - very engaging. Clever approach to compiling some great rock songs into a story, similar to what Mama Mia did with ABBA songs
What a fun night! The cast was very talented and the dancing was spot on. So glad we aren't today wearing any of the excellent '80s costumes! A great Girlz Night, in a beautiful venue. My orchestra seat was very comfortable and the array of refreshments at the Drury Lane Theatre was a nice surprise on my first visit. I'll be back!
Show was so much more than we even thought it would be. Music was just awesome and casting was excellent too. Drury Lane is also a beautiful venue. Will definitely go back.
Took my wife to see this show. A lot of great songs with the back drop of a love story. The crowd was on their feet towards the end and everyone had a great time. The cast gave a great performance blending in some funny scenes. I would recommend this show and the theater is great as well (Drury Lane). We had dinner and they box up food for you to pick up left overs after the show. They also gave me a to go drink (soda) that I could take into the show. Just great customer service.
Saw this production on a cruise also.....both had the same story lines which varies a little from the movie....and it was fantastic!!! Very funny and well casted!!! Enjoyed every minute!!! Highly recommend!!!
Drury Lane puts on a great Sunday brunch and awesome shows. I've never been to a show that wasn't amazing! Easy to get to, parking is ok, but you can valet for a small fee. We go a few times a year!
The show was truly amazing because the cast seemed to be having so much fun performing. The audience was into it and enjoyed every minute. The quality of acting was superb, and the talent of the musicians, singers, and dancers was amazing. The price of the ticket was reasonable, but next time I would go to the box office and buy and pick them up there to avoid all the extra charges. We had the brunch and it was impressive with great service. Did not know that the tax and tip were not included in the brunch ticket price, so that was a surprise. I would recommend Drury Lane Oakbrook to anyone who wants to see a show that is as good if not better than many downtown performances but much more reasonable and without the horrendous drive and parking fees.
Rock of Ages was so good. The actors were so talented and left you wanting more. I highly recommend this show.
Rock of Ages was so much fun. If you like the music of the late 80’s, you will love this musical. Great music, laughs and all around fun!
